Recommended Resources

On this page, I am sharing all of the resources that helped me on my journey.

Personal Growth

Ask and It is Given, Esther Hicks – This book talks about the importance of having a positive attitude, and the last part of it contains incredible tools to help you maintain a high vibration.

Money and The Law of Attraction, Esther Hicks – This book help you create a new story about money and to let go of limiting beliefs.

The Science of Making Things Happen – This book goes into the science behind the law of attracting, manifesting and quantum physics.

The Biology of Belief, Bruce Lipton – This book talks about how our thoughts affect our health and our genes.

The Wisdom of Your Cells, Bruce Lipton – This is similar to the book above but goes into more detail. It shows how powerful the mind is and how our thoughts can heal ourselves.

Non-Violent Communication, Marshall Rosenberg – This is a great book if you want to become a better communicator. It helps people develop better listening skills and helps you to better express empathy and compassion when communicating with others.

The Mood Cure, Julia Ross – This book talks about the nutritional aspects of anxiety and depression. It has a quiz that can help you determine exactly where your nutritional deficiencies are and how to fix them. It also has a lot of great dietary information as well. I suffered horribly from anxiety and panic attacks when I was younger and this book, along with hypnosis and EFT was crucial in helping me overcome it.

Weight Loss

Alt Shift Diet, Jason Sieb – This book is an ebook. It talks about rebuilding your metabolism. The author talks about how most diets work to lose weight initially, but after you get used to the eating plan, your metabolism slows and so does your weight loss. This book has you cycling between high fat days with moderate vegetables and moderate protein, a cycle of 5 days. Then he has you do 3 days of low fat, moderate protein and moderate vegetables. Because your body is constantly shifting between these two cycles, your metabolism doesn’t slow and you keep losing weight. I have had a lot of success with this diet with myself and my clients. This is a paleo based diet. There is not a vegan option.

The Fast Metabolism Diet – This book is very similar to the one above, except it has 3 cycles instead of two. It also has vegan and vegetarian options. I have not tried this personally, however; many of the nutritional therapists that I went to school with have, and they all had great results personally and with their clients.

The South Beach Diet – This is a low carb, paleo type diet that was worked well for many of my clients.

Practical Paleo, Diane SanFilippo – This book explains exactly how to do the paleo diet which has been successful for many people in losing weight.

Complete Guide to Water Fasting, Dr. Jason Fong – This book is all about water fasting. Fasting, when done right, can be very healthy to give the body a break from food, and to lose weight. Dr. Jason Fong is an expert and explains exactly how to water fast in a healthy way.

Exercise

Thinner, Leaner, Stronger, Mike Matthews – This is a great exercise program for women. It involves using free weight and it is all explained in simple terms. I have used this program myself and have had great results. This book helps you increase your body’s muscle mass, without bulking up or looking manly. Having a higher muscle mass greatly increases your metabolism and helps you burn more calories and lose weight faster. The one thing I don’t like about this book is his diet plan; however, the exercise plan is great.

Bigger, Leaner, Stronge
r, Mike Matthews – This book is similar to the one above except it is for men.

Documentaries

The Real Skinny on Fat – This is a 9 part documentary series about high fat diets and how they can improve our health and help us lose weight.

The Tapping Solution – This is a documentary about the Emotional Freedom Technique. It chronicles the experiences of 10 workshop participants at an EFT weekend workshop and shows the transformation they all received from working with EFT. It really shows what is possible with EFT.

Food, Inc. – This is a documentary by Michael Pollan about the sad state of our food supply in the United States. It talks about factory farming, GMOs, and all the politics involved, and more importantly, what we can do about it.

EFT

You Tube video – Introduction to Tapping – This video is an introduction to the Emotional Freedom Technique by the founder Gary Craig. It really helps you to understand it and to see how much is possible.
